Privacy policy

Trippin Remote

Trippin Remote is an iPhone and iPad app that controls Trippin, the live visuals app, running on your own Mac or PC. This policy covers the Trippin Remote app only.

The short version

Trippin Remote doesn't collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it contains no third-party code that does any of those things.

What the app talks to

The app only connects to Trippin on your local network:

The built-in demo ("Try the demo") runs entirely inside the app and makes no network connections.

What stays on your device

To save you typing them again, the app keeps the following on your device:

This information never leaves your device. You can delete a saved computer and its PIN at any time from the connect screen (⋯ → Forget), and deleting the app removes all of it.

Show state and thumbnails from Trippin are kept in memory while you're connected, and they're gone when you close the app.

Children

The app isn't directed at children, and it collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here, with a new date at the top.
